New York!

Hello everyone!

おひさしぶり!^^

These days, I am very busy.

I’ll tell you about it soon, but first, I want to show some photos.

At the end of March, I went to meet my friends in New York City!!

I’ll show you the best photos from that trip!

At first, we went to the Museum of Modern Art. There was a special room with a model of a Nature City. It looks nice, doesn’t it?

Next, we did some art poses…

I don’t understand some art.

It’s just white!!

Where it the art?!?! It’s just white!!

BORING! SORRY!

For me, I want to see my favorite famous paintings:

Dali!

Mondrian!

♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ VAN GOGH!!!! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

I love this photo ♥ ♥

Next, we went outside of Museum of Modern Art, to this famous thing:

Another day, we went to the Statue of Liberty.

It was really interesting to see it in real life.

You can see it in photos, but to see it in real life is always the best experience.

Hello George Washington! ♥ ♥ ♥

I like taking photos with statues.

They are always funny, hahahahahaha!

My friend from Boston came to visit us. She took us on the Brooklyn Bridge…

…and to drink tea at a fancy tea shop…

(It is called Alice In Wonderland Tea Shop!! SO DELICIOUS!!! We had sandwiches, 3 pots of tea, scones, cookies, and cake!!! AAAAAHHHH!!!! SO GOOD!)

…and to Laudree Macaron shop!

We all bought macarons. They were perfect!

I had pistachio and raspberry.

I wanted to buy some Laudree brand goods, like a pencil, or a charm. But they were really expensive!!! :(

BOOOO!

Yeah, it is a fancy Paris shop, but I don’t want to pay $35 for a mechanical pencil (SHARPペン)

At last, we went to a special candy store ^^

On the top of the candy store was a sweets cafe, with cakes, ice cream, hot cocoa, and so on.

I had this carrot cupcake!

My friend had a mini carrot cake, mini cheese cake, and chocolate strawberry. WOW.

We both had ice tea to drink.

The cakes were delicious. But I really didn’t like this ice tea! It was so bitter! It made my mouth feel really gross and strange.

This is the cafe. The seats were cupcakes! Everything was so lovely ^^

I ate everything.

By the way, the table is gum balls!

Gorgeous!

Well…

That’s all for New York!

I didn’t take as many photos as I wanted to (I’m a little surprised about that)

But, we had a wonderful time!

Thank you to Rちゃん for deciding the trip!

Thank you to Aちゃん for guiding us!

Thank you to Jくん for giving us a place to stay!

Thank you New York!

Wedding

The wedding in Florida was really wonderful.

I don’t have many photos, because I was busying enjoying myself :D

But I did take a few photos!

Please enjoy them!

The weather was really beautiful!

Here is where we ate breakfast. We went to a donut shop (Dunkin Donuts) and ate outside. In February!

Here is the wedding site. A beautiful outdoor wedding!!

To show where to sit, we had a jar of honey with an animal name.

My animal was “Black Bear”.

Isn’t that a cute idea?

I want to eat the honey because it looks so delicious, but I also want to treasure it, hahahahaha.

My friend Dianne is beautiful, like a fashion model. Don’t you think?

The bride and groom having their First Dance.

They are two wonderful people, I am so happy that they got married!!

Universal Studios

おひさしぶり!

Last week, I went to Florida.

My friends got married in a beautiful wedding. It was very emotional and fun!

The next day, I went to Universal Studios with my good friend James.

We went to Wizarding World of Harry Potter, which was very fun.

But… I love Dr. Seuss!!

James was not excited, because Dr. Seuss is not popular in his country. But I love it!

Truffula Trees!!!

James is not impressed.

I love them!

ちゅう〜

Deer?

Anyway, they are very cute…

Cute!!

I love Dr. Seuss!!

Tongue Twisters

Do you know Tongue Twisters?

They are sentences that are difficult to say.

A famous one is “She sells seashells down by the seashore”

(海岸に彼女は貝を売れています)

It’s like… 坊主が屏風に上手に坊主の絵を描いた 。

(For english speakers, “Bózu ga byóbu ni józu ni bózu no é o kaita.”)

Anyway…

I like shells. I like shells down by the seashore :)

Enjoy some shells!

Sundial Shell

Scallop Shell

Wendetrap (?) Shell

Angel Wing

Special Toilet

“Elite Seats”

「エリート 席」   (トイレ)

CRABS!!!

We ate crabs!

It was my first time eating crabs.

The taste was OK. It was a lot of work.

I was very suspicious…

…because the crab had a knife!

He was going to fight me!

He didn’t want to be eaten!!

(that’s natural, I think)

OH MY GOD!!

Messages

In Pennsylvania, we went to a Spiritual Holistic Expo.

Do you know about these?

An “expo” is like a festival, with a theme.

「expo] は 祭りみたい。。。 徳島ラメン博覧会みたい、しかし、このテーマは 「holistic medicine」、全体観的医学。

You can meet lots of fortune tellers (占う人).

They will read tarot cards, or read your hand.

They will tell you about your future, or about your past life (!)

Also, they had some stalls to sell magic crystals, magic books, magic tea, advice, and so on.

Yeah… I don’t know. Is it true?

Can people really see the future?

Can cards really give you secret magic advice about your life?

I don’t believe it.

But maybe it’s true?

What do you think?

I had a lady read my hands. It cost $15.

She said, “Oh, You have a strong life line! But you have two lines… so, a dead person is joining you. They are helping you.”

“Oh… really?”

“Yes. Also, look at your love line.”

“My love line?”

“It’s very short. Maybe you will find love at age 30.”

“Age 30?”

“You’re very careful in love, so it will take you a long time to find love.”

“Oh, I see.”

“Also… hmm. I don’t see any children in your hands. You won’t have children.”

“Hmmmm.”

..

.

Was it true?

I don’t know!!

She said some more things. I think she was wrong sometimes.

But it was just for fun!

I had a nice time.

We bought some tea, and looked at interesting clothes.

..

..

..

What about it?

Do you believe in fortune telling?

Pennsylvania

We drove from Boston to Pennsylvania.

It took 6 hours to drive!
orz

But I didn’t have to drive, haha!! I was lucky.

It’s really nice in Pennsylvania.

This state has a lot of countryside… farms, cows, forests, big slopes, and so on.

Look, it’s a house that looks like a boat!

Pretty cool, right?

I would like to live in an interesting house.

In Pennsylvania (and many other states in the East) they have many old houses.

From the 1700′s and 1800′s.

The design of houses in those times was really nice.

They used stones for the walls, and lots of nice windows.

I hope I can live in an old-fashioned house someday…

…but maybe there will be a ghost there????

(Old houses usually have a ghost in them, right?)

hmmmm

More Boston

We ate cannolis! It’s a sweet Italian dessert.

The outside is really crispy and hard, but the inside is delicious cream.

On the left side is a lemon cannoli. On the right side is pistachio.

We cut them in half, so we could share. It was my first time to eat a cannoli, and I wanted to try two flavors.

Yum!

I went walking in a cemetery. This is a statue for World War 1.

Serious face.

It was a nice day. I had a nice walk.

Walking in Boston

We walked in Boston!

It was my first time visiting there.

友達とボストンに 散歩しました。

私の顔。。。 わからない。

I love public trash cans!

I missed them when I was in Japan.

日本に、町にゴミ箱がありません。

アメリカに、ゴミ箱が多い。

わからない。。。

Hahahaha!

!!!
